• Has won championships at the high school level (Sylacauga, AL 1997 &1998), as well as a gold medal with Team USA in 2009

• Named All-Star in 2005 (Winston-Salem), 2006 (Birmingham), 2007 (Charlotte), & 2011 (Long Island)

• Twice named Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year (2004 –South Atlantic League & 2005 – Carolina League)

• Made MLB debut on 7/20/07 vs. Boston Red Sox

Josh Bennefield

• Former assistant coach at Huntingdon College

• Two-time All-Conference selection at Huntingdon College

• Played at Pleasant Grove HS where he was named All-County

Brett Dunn

• Played at University of Montevallo where he starred as a Reliever/3rd Baseman

• During his playing career at Montevallo, played in a Division II College World Series and finshed 3rd in the nation

• Played at Vestavia Hills HS for Sammie Dunn and Dal Davis where he hit .440 as a senior

Patrick Sorrells

• Signed as a free agent by the Cleveland Indians

• Played professionally in the Frontier League, as well as overseas in England, Germany, & Italy

Mason Meredeth

• Outstanding HS career at Dothan HS (Dothan, AL)

Josh Magee

• 18th round pick in 2010 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros currently playing in for the Greenville Astros (Class A – Appalachian League)

• Tied professional record going 12-for-12 in consecutive at-bats

• Two-sport star at Hoover HS, committed to play baseball & football @ Southern Mississippi prior to being drafted

• Hit .283 with 2 HR’s and 16 SB’s at Greenville

• Offensive Football Player of the Year 2008 & 2009

• AHSAA East-West Baseball All-Star
